I had the pleasure of talking with someone that I’ve been following for a while, Jenn Herman, from Jenn’s Trends. We discussed ways to get the most out of Instagram with tips, and more.

Jenn Herman has a unique perspective on business and success on social media, which earned her the prestige of being on the list of Top 10 Social Media Blogs three years in a row: 2014, 2015, and 2016. She is also the author of The Ultimate Beginner’s Guide to Instagram and Stop Guessing.

Right now, 65% of the world’s top brands use Instagram and Jenn says the number continues to grow. There are 200 million monthly active users on Instagram, 70% of which log in daily. This is a huge base of people for marketers to reach. No matter who your target audience is, some of them will use the platform. You’ll hear why you can reach people more clearly through Instagram than you can with any other platform.

As a marketer, you should aim to create original images for Instagram. There are many different ways to incorporate your products and services into an image to make it look more native and get better engagement.

Ahead of his annual Digital Nomad Summit, I had a chance to chat with Johnny FD. A digital nomad who In 2008 quit his corporate gig in California to move to Thailand and follow his passions and work as a Scuba Diver around the world. It was in Thailand that he spent a few years training professionally as a Muay Thai Fighter and fighting professionally.

In 2013 he started my first online business through publishing a book on Amazon Kindle, then replaced his 9-5 income by starting a dropshipping store which he later sold and start investing in other passive income vehicles. Johnny also started a blog to document and share his journey as a location independent entrepreneur or what he now labels as a digital nomad with my friends and family.

Johnny and I discuss;
